Making a Claim

Getting Started
First of all, we want your claiming experience to be as
straightforward and simple as possible. Underwriters are keen to
ease clients through the claims process but in order to satisfy
themselves that your claim is legitimate they will ask questions
about you, your policy and your reason making your claim.
So, please have at hand all the information that you can gather
concerning your claim such as, of course, your personal
information, tag number, policy and scheme reference number,
explanation of what you are claiming for and all documents and
receipts that pertain to your claim. Much of the policy information
you will need can be got from your Member's file; just log in at
the Members link on the top navigation.
It will be worthwhile reviewing your policy documents and you
can download the appropriate Policy Details document from
the Cover Details page (opens in a new
window).
To obtain a Claim Form
Claims are handles by Europ Assistance. If you have a
claim to make on your travel insurance policy, you must do it
within one month of returning home from your trip.

You can visit our underwriters' website. Click on the link below.
You will arrive at a page on the Europ Assistance website that
deals with claims. On the left hand side of the window you will see
under the heading TRAVEL, a list of claim types. Click on the
appropriate claim type and you will be taken to a page outlining
requirements. At the bottom of this page is a link called "Request
a Travel .... Claim Form. Once you have filled in your details you
will be emailed with a claim reference number and a link to
download the claim form.
