Special Sports and Activities Cover
DOGTAG covers a wide range of sports and
activities which fall into three categories:
• SPORT The default DOGTAG level, it covers a
very wide range of sports and activities.
• SPORT+ Covers higher risk sports for an extra
premium plus those sports listed under Sport
• EXTREME For an extra premium, Extreme covers
the highest risk sports as well as those covered under the other
two categories.
NOTE! It's your responsibility to make sure
that you have the correct level of cover for your particular
sports. Check the table below to see which level you're going to
need; click the icons above to read the full policy wording.

Certain sports and activities are EXCLUDED from cover. If a
sport or activityappears on the EXCLUDED list, you are not covered
to partake in this activity under any circumstances under the terms
of this cover.
WINTER
SPORTS NOTE
You can add the Winter Sports cover uplift to any DOGTAG policy
for an extra premium. This uplift covers you to engage in winter
sports. However, you should be aware that individual winter sports
are categorised Sport, Sport+ or Extreme according to risk, as are
non winter sports.
This means that as well as selecting the Winter Sports cover
uplift, you will also have to ensure that you choose the correct
sport category for your particular winter sport.
For instance:
Skiing & Snowboarding - simply to go skiing
or snowbaording, you would need the Winter Sports uplift but since
these sports fall into the SPORT category, when you go for a
quotation, you should simply choose SPORT and the Winter Sports
uplift.
Ski Mountianeering - Ski mountaineering falls
into the Extreme category so as well as choosing the Winter Sports
uplift, you will need to select Extreme.
